While epilepsy can begin at any stage of life, people over age 65 are among those with the highest incidence of new-onset epilepsy. And as those diagnosed at a younger age grow older, the number of seniors living with epilepsy is growing rapidly. In this webinar, Julie Hanna, MD, epileptologist at the Minnesota Epilepsy Group, will explore the factors that put older adults at higher risk for epilepsy, special concerns around epilepsy in this age group, and distinguishing between comorbidities of epilepsy and the normal symptoms of aging.
